I have noticed some lag on mine, but usually only when I am using the S pen for handwriting recognition, like right now while I am writing this.
There is a small amount of lag where what I am writing does not show up in the digitizer window as fast as I can write it.
It is possible that the software used to make the touchscreen double as a S pen digitizer could be causing some minor memory issues with the phone. I am sure the ICS update that is coming will take this into account, as Samsung is relying on this type of setup to sell their next line of tablets, the Galaxy Note tablets.
