How Bright

Considering buying this phone and wonder if the screen is as bright or brighter than the Galaxy S5? Use my phone a lot in bright sunlight and need it as bright as I can get.

Screen brightness on the G4 and S5 is comparable.

Appreciate both replies. I am always at least a generation or two behind the latest. Currently have an S4 which seems to be having problems. I can replace it with either the LG G4 or the S5 and was trying to decide. Any other arguments for one over the other? I have read the various reviews online. Looking at comments here about the LG suggests it may be having more issues than the S5.

I think AMOLED on the S5 would likely give you better results in sunshine. I just had a beach holiday and my G4 was tough to see. Throw in polarized sunglasses and it was next to impossible.

I had a S3 and screen brightness was a definite improvement on the S4. Hoping to improve on that.
