My skype friend has his number in skype set to "911". Yeah, very funny, this caused the joined contact of his real number and skype account to have to numbers right next to each others, his real one, and 911. I told him to get it off his account for me and he did, my desktop app says its not on his account and my mobile app says its not on the account. The contact card still has it though. I restarted the phone, pressed "Sync now" in the skype account settings. It is not going away. I can't delete the contact from the list and remake it because it will only "hide" it, and I'm not willing to test how much of a hassle it will be to "un-hide" it.
I tried to remove the skype account in accounts but it says some apps need it and I have to do a factory reset to remove it.
Does anyone know what I can do?
Edit: So sorry, I disabled sync with skype and then re-enabled it. I'm still waiting for my friend to sign in though which really is what loads all the information like profile pictures and stuff like that. Since the number isnt on his account anymore it would make sense that it wouldn't sync it.
