How can I adjust the screen sensitivity?

Ok so I am having some really annoying issues with screen taps. texting on this thing freaking sucks, I don't know if its just screen lag or the screen is not reading my finger taps. is anyone else having these issues? or know of any fixes to make the screen read better??????

Turn off the tracing feature in the keyboard. It's called flow or Swype. Let me know if that makes a difference
