I recently saw somewhere that with the new update for Android
S8+ that there is a way to block unwanted text messages. Does anyone know how to do this?

I assume u add the number to the blacklist. Thats how i do it on my huawei mate 10 pro.
I open the message.. Up the top next to the number i have the 3 dots above each other. Press that and there is an option to add to black list.

No, I know everyone says it's supposed to be there, but i either don't have that even though i have the new update, or i dont know where to look. I have searched my text app. Maybe im not using the right one? Two different text apps came with my phone, i didnt download any. And sorry if im being dense, im not tech savvy.

On the Google Messages app, you tap the 3 dots, then choose People and contacts, then you get a "Block" choice.

I use Pulse on my S8+, PC, and tablet, when you open a conversation, click on the 3 dots and select Blacklist contact. BYW, I highly recommend Pulse; it works well on all my devices.
