How can I change the homescreen grid?

I would like to fit more icons on the homescreen. I really dislike the look of the 4x4 grid and would much prefer 5x4 or 6x5.

I know that I can do this using a different launcher (Apex, Go, Nova, etc), however this is really the *only* issue I have with the BlinkFeed launcher, so it's really the only change I want to make.

Apps like Multicon let you put 4 icons in the space of 1 and this isn't what I want either (that's just TOO small).

So the question is: Is there a setting or an app that will simply allow me to change the homescreen grid size?

Other than changing the launcher, I don't think there is a way to do that. You could have a widget that takes up all of your homescreen with app shortcuts in it, but that's about it.
