If you bought it from metro PCS just go into my metro and then go to the side bar drop down menu top left i think and it should have like pay my bill and data usage as a separate option click on data usage and it will pop up with an accurate read out on mobile data and show you how much you have left for the month

Typically these pay as you go smart phone plans have a reinstalled app which you would create an account with then login to their system to check the data and time usage. However in some cases if one knows where to explore online, you may find an alternate site where as one can simply enter their phone number that's assign to your smart phone and retrieve any information relative your data plan usage.
