how can i connect my nexus 7 to my PC?

If you have them in Google drive or photos can just log in same account on pc and they will be there .

Welcome to Android Central! Connect the tablet to your PC via USB cable. Then on the tablet, swipe down the notification panel and tap he USB notification -- make sure MTP (or File Transfer) is selected. Now on your PC, open Windows File Explorer, double click on the Nexus 7 in the device list, and you should be able to drag and drop files.
