Me and my wife are interested in moving from Apple to Android.

I have a lot of music and quite a few TV shows in iTunes, I've found quite a bit about how I can transfer music but haven't been able to find anything relating to moving music and videos.

How easy is it to move music (according to iTunes I have 5,346 songs, some purchased from iTunes some not purchased from iTunes but all in my iTunes library) and TV shows (approximately 50 episodes all purchased via iTunes)?

I'm interested in getting the Galaxy S7 Edge which only has 32gb so I would need to use a SD Card, mentioning that in case it is relevant to the answer.

Thanks in advance for any answers.

The way I transfer files (large quantity) is to use a SD card reader. Much easier for me and I don't tie up my phone while files are transferring. For just a file or two, I normally just connect the phone to my computer and wait it out. I don't own a Mac though... I run Windows.

Read this article... it might offer you some help.

Thanks for the response and the article link.

I'm guessing it wouldn't be that easy for videos purchased through iTunes though?

Well, good luck with your transition. Android is good, but like anything, your mileage may vary. :)
