How can I fix a problem with my headphone port?

Problem with my headphone port

My Headphone port in my Samsung GS5 isn't working properly. Music/phone calls can only be heard from the right earphone. Earphones are not the problem, I've tested.

Welcome to Android Central! Inspect the jack carefully to make sure there isn't any debris in there. Use a can of compressed air to blow it out, or a damp toothpick to root around. Also make sure the plug is in all the way--you should feel or hear it click into place.
