How can I fix a Samsung Galaxy S6 glitch?

Samsung Galaxy S6 glitch

I keep on getting a little circle that pops up as if it were a minimized app. It has a picture of a remote on it, but when I push it, my screen has a grey tint and I cannot push anything on the screen. I have to do a hard reset to get it to go away. Is there any way to get rid of this?

Hello Holly, welcome to the forums! This is a known issue affecting many users. The culprit is an app called Peel Smart Remote, search for it in your app manager and disable it. Tell us how it goes.

Glad it helped! This app can be used to control the IR blaster in your phone. If you don't use this feature you can keep it disabled, or even uninstalled, until the devs push an update fixing the problem.
