How can I fix an application manager problem?

I own a Motorola droid ultra, i installed File manager version 1.1 and the uninstall button is locked for me and force stop, it is redirecting me when i search for apps or when i'm surfing the web it sends me to a random web page i really need help thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! Which File Manager app did you install? Was it from Google Play Store, or some other source? It sounds like it's a malicious (or at least annoyingly adware-filled) app. Go to Settings>Device Administrators, and see if anything else is checked there besides Android Device Manager. You might have to uncheck that before trying to uninstall this bogus app.
