How can I fix an email problem in my Huawei P8?

i have the huawei p8 , the gmail works good with my pop3 mail setting , but when i try to use the mail from huawei p8 , it tells me that the pop3 setting is not working , the same port setting i use as the on i put in gmail , but i still have the same problem

Don't use POP3 unless you have a particular reason you need to. Use IMAP, the default for Gmail. It,'s capable of much more than POP3 anyway, especially Push email.

Just let your email app do an automatic setup. It will configure the servers for you.
