How can I fix an Internal SD card problem?

Internal SD card problem

Ayo!
A few months ago I went and formatted my SD card as internal for my Moto X Play, knowing the risks of not being able to read it on any other device. Now, after my phone (especially the card slot) broke down, I can't read the card even on my own device.

I'm about to change my phone or replace my Moto with a similar one and thus need your help. Is there ANY way to format my SD card readable again or am I forced to buy a new one?

Welcome to the forums. Have you tried any pc software like card recovery (they have a demo which will show you contents) to see if the files can be recovered.

I have used this software a few times and it even saved me during a wedding.
If your card is not that old it may still be under warranty for a free replacement.

Windows will not recognise that card. Don't bother to go there
