How can I fix app aspect ratio

[Android Central Question]

I have a Note 10 and some apps like tiktok are cropped on the sides a bit. Is there a way to fix the aspect ratio so nothing is ever cropped? I tried Display>Full Screen Apps and tried both Auto and Full Screen mode but it's still cropped. I know there is an option to hide the punch hole and that does help a bit but I don't want to have to turn that off and on all the time.
