How can I fix my Samsung Galaxy S3, the touch screen is not responding and is now black?

samsung galaxy S3, touch screen not responding now screen black also!

samsung galaxy S3, last night my touch screen wouldnt respond, but the side buttons & home button work, as well as the back arrow and menu keys. the screen lights up and is readable. i tried restarting, i tried removing the battery for awhile and power up. still no respnse from touch screen. now this morning my screen is completely black, the only reason i know its powered on is the blinking missed call notification at top corner. please help!

Welcome to the forums. The screen digitizer may have become damaged. Have you taken it to a repair shop for an estimate?
