how to fix the fingerprint sensor on the s6 edge

the fingerprint version says null
 
Welcome to Android Central! Where do you see it listed as null? Does this persist after a reboot, in Safe Mode, or after a factory reset?
 
Did you get the phone brand new from a carrier store, or used/refurbished from some reseller? What's the exact model number listed on the sticker on the box? Does it match the model number in the Settings>About Phone menu? I'm wondering if a previous owner might have flashed a different variant's firmware onto the phone, which could lead to glitches like this. A factory reset wouldn't help, since it would still be using the same firmware.
 
Since it's brand new, it may not be worth the effort to troubleshoot if you can bring it in for a refund or exchange. If it's too late for that, then check with Samsung to see if it's under warranty.

it might be a faulty hardware, you gotta need to bring it back to the store where you bought it mate,
