AC Question

I keep constantly getting 2 pop-up error messages/notifications that say: Unfortunately, Google Play services has stopped and unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped. The first one popped up yesterday and the second started today. This had caused all of my Google apps to stop working properly, such as Google play store, saying authentication is required, you need to sign into your Google account. The retry button doesn't fix it and I can't even force stop Google play services in the app list. It only allows me to clear the cache. I've tried tapping the sign in when it gave me the error message in Gmail, but it doesn't work either. This happened about 5 days ago as well and I finally gave up, but factory reset wouldn't respond either. I had to search in help to factory reset externally. I have also deleted all of my most recently added apps as of last night and today. Anyway, I'm hoping that there's some way to fix the problem permanently, so I won't have to keep factory resetting this HTC Desire 510 or buy a new phone (which I cannot afford).

Welcome to Android Central!

Try going to HTC's software page and downloading the firmware from them. You can use your PC to flash it. That will flash a brand new image straight from HTC and might fix the issue.
