How can I get full-screen-width virtual keyboard back?

Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, running Android 5.0.2. The large full-screen-width virtual keyboard appears to have been replaced by a smart-phone-sized virtual keyboard, and I can't find anyplace in settings to get the large one back.

Welcome to Android Central! You might have toggled the floating keyboard on. Look for a key next to the spacebar that has small symbols along the top--long-press it, then look for an option to toggle back to the full keyboard.
