How to get music on to Galaxy S4, IS THERE ANY RELIABLE METHOD AVAILABLE

Soo

I have a galaxy s4 and have owned it for a while now. I have been trialing different methods of getting music onto my device similar to the setup of itunes.

I tried double twist and my mac will not connect to my phone over wifi. I cannot ping my phone or gain any form of connection. When I plug my phone in with double twist active it says I need to mount my phone first which does not seem possible on my phone.

I tried isyncr and it will randomly select half the music and miss out most of the album artwork etc, another one off the list.

I tried spotify and everytime I leave my wifi signal it removes all of my music.

I tried google play music and I cannot select to store music on my sd card.

I tried a USB cable and plugging it directly into my pc and or mac, SOMETIMES the sd card will appear in the folder but it usually times out while transferring music and will miss out on songs or come to a halt.

I have tried all of this multiple times and reformatted phone / pc etc.

Everything I seem to try is not an actual reliable method of such a simple task!

Even with samsung kies, I cannot transfer over wifi and the app is terrible.

Anyone with similar issues that may have come up with a solution?

Welcome to Android Central! What about unmounting the SD card (in Settings>Storage), removing it and inserting it into your computer, then copying your music files directly to the SD card using Windows Explorer (or whatever file manager the Mac uses)? Keep the conventional folder hierarchy of Artist>Albums>Song.
