How can I get my Alarm clock working on my HTC M8?

Alarm clock not working on htc M8

My alarms are not going off on my HTC M8. I thought I maybe slept through my alarm so I set it for a fee minutes later and it still didn't go off. I have tried different volume setting and restarting phone but that still didn't work. Anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?

I've been having the same issue since Saturday morning. I luckily have my fitbit as a backup now since I overslept on Monday and missed an appointment. This morning I set my alarm for a time and waited for it to go off. The alarm confirmed it was set and the time left before it was set to activate. It never went off.

I just went to check if there's an update for the app that hopefully addresses the problem. There is one available as of today. Apparently it fixes the issue according to reviews I'm seeing.
