How can I get my caller ID working on my Nexus 6?

Help,

My caller ID has stopped working on my Nexus 6 when I get a call although in my contacts list the name doesn't display same when I'm trying to send a message when I search contact does not come up, comes up after a few minutes

I have this same issue. I bought my nexus 6 from google and activated it on verizon. It worked for a few days, maybe a week? Now it just says unknown number. I just flashed marshmallow to it, same result. Did you ever get an answer or figure it out???

Just a quick check, have you checked to see if "Caller ID by Google is turned on?" Click on phone icon, its above the tiles of speed dial etc.

Yes I made sure it was turned on. I did a chat with verizon but they were giving me crap because its a non vzw phone. I am thinking about activating my note 4 back on my account to see if its something with my line. It worked when I first got the phone that's the frustrating part.... I mean numbers that are in my address book won't even show up. *Sigh*
