How can I get my HTC One Mini 2 keyboard vibration working?

htc one mini 2 keyboard vibration wont work??

i'm one of those weirdos who cant function without the vibration on the keyboard- problem is i have no idea how to turn it on. the settings that other forums have suggested (language/keyboard>htc sense input>vibration feedback) (sound>system>vibrate on touch) are selected but will not work. my sister has the same problem and we have no idea how to fix it. any help?

Welcome to Android Central! Do other vibrations work, like vibrating when the phone rings or when a notification comes through? The vibration motor is the only moving part in the phone (unless you also count the autofocus mechanism), so it wouldn't be surprising to see it fail from time to time.
