How can I get my S4 mini to send pictures/data/videos to another device over wifi?

S4 mini Wifi Question

If I'm signed into someone's residential wifi, my device won't send pictures/video/data to their devices automatically as I take them, right? (like their desktop, ipad, etc)

I was under the impression that a bunch of setup steps were needed to authorize that, on both ends. Is that correct?

Welcome to Android Central! You are correct, they won't save automatically to that person's devices. Any kind of setup like that would require your permission. If you have Google+ Auto Backup turned on, your photos will still backup to your Google account in the cloud, but not locally.

Sorry, as I re-read your question, it sounds like you actually want to transfer files to another device. You could use wireless file transfer apps like AirDroid or Wifi File Explorer.
