How can I get my S4 music player controls from the lock screen?

S4 music player controls from lock screen

Hi, I am trying to get the music controls back on my lock screen after upgrading to Lollipop. When I search my phone's user guide, it says I can "add music playback control as a card to the lock screen". How do I do this? I don't want to download yet another app, but I miss being able to control my music without unlocking my phone. I am using the Samsung music player. Thanks!
