Samsung Galaxy S 4 Verizon Unlocked not working on Cricket. Please help.
Ok, so I purchased an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S 4, the Verizon Wireless model from a seller on swappa.com. Given it was unlocked, I slid my CricKet sim card right into the phone and it worked like a dream. I moved from a Windows Phone to the S4 and really loved the experience I was getting. Anyhow, the Text Messaging, MMS, Internet, apps and everything works flawlessly. One HUGE Problem, when I try to call people who live in the same city as me, and have the same area code I get a notification telling me "The international number you have dialed is not part of your plan" when I am calling somebody with the same area code as me. It trips on some numbers but doesn't on others but overall is extremely frustrating. Is there anyway to correct this problem at all? I was told that Verizon phones are only unlocked for overseas customers and I would have to purchase the At&T Variant of the S4 in order for it to work. Is there anyway to fix this issue as I do not want to take the time to return the device and go through all the trouble. Please respond ASAP I need a quick answer.
