How can I get my Smart Lock setting working?

Smart Lock Setting Wont Work

I use a Samsung S6 Edge. I have a fingerprint Lock enabled with the Device Auto Lock set to 5 minutes. I also have Trusted Places (Home & Office) added. I have a trusted Device (bose Headset) added as well. But still my device gets locked automatically after 5 mins even if i am in the trusted place or connected to trusted device.

can you please help me understand why i am facing this issue !

Is it possible you allowed work email to set security on your phone?

That's a Good Catch recDNA. Thanks for brigning that up. i missed to think Through that. However, My office mailbox just mandates me to set any screen lock protection. Does not really have any configuration for screen lock. do you think the app might have this "force screen lock" setting internally ?

Maybe you can check your Lock Screen & Security > Secure Lock Settings > Lock Automatically > Then change it.

As i mentioned in the Original post, i already have my automatic Lock set to 5 mins. The question is on, why the screen gets Locked when it is not supposed to :-(

I have trusted devices setup as well, and it's kinda iffy, sometimes I can just swipe, but other time I have to do the fingerprint as well.

It times out after 4 hours. I'm not sure work email could disable it. Just a possibility. There is no trick to setting it up. Mine works perfectly with my gear 2 or at home.

Yes Mark i end up doing the same many a times. Just swipe wont work. I will have to do the fingerprint as well. Not sure if this is an issue that i need to report to T-Mobile or this is how it designed to work !

No, I don't, I have a company phone, so I don't need it on my personal phone. I don't believe it's carrier specific as I'm on Sprint.
