How can I get my unlocked LG V30 to consistently connect to the internet and send MMS on Metropcs?

My new V30 works great sometimes, but it seems to not connect to the internet a lot, and it won't send picture MMS, unless I use a free text app (Text Free). I've set up the APN just as a lot of the forum suggest, and with all the variables, with no luck. Any ideas?

Are you using one of the APNs at https://bestmvno.com/apn-settings/metropcs-apn-settings/? If not, you should be. (There are no spaces in the APN type line.)
