How can I get my USB cable to connect my G3 to my PC?

USB cable not working properly

I have recently just got a CYGNET USB cable, now when I connect my samsung galaxy3 to my pc, my pc recognises it but when it comes to transferring files from pc to mobile it copies halfway through then comes up with error. And yet my last USB cable was a logitech mouse charger and that worked fine..????

Welcome to Android Central! Not all USB cables are created equal. There can be varying quality. Try a different cable.

have you tried a different port on your PC?
