How can I get rid of a black screen on my Samsung Galaxy S3?

samsung galaxy s3 black screen?

I have a samsung galaxy s3 4g lte and the screen has stopped turning on. The blue light turns on at startup as well as the buttons on the bottom, but my screen is black. All the start up sounds are still working as well. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! When you boot the phone up, do you see the Samsung logo, or does it just stay black? If the latter, then the screen has failed. You'll need to bring it to a repair shop.

The screen stays black, no logo.
