How can I get rid of a pop up flashing banner?

Hi
i wonder if any of you know the best way or app to get rid of the annoying flashing banner ads that keep popping up at the bottom of my screen that are plaguing my new sony z2 mobile
The pop banner ads in question are things like your memory low' your phone going slow' you need this clean master' your battery running out' there's junk all over the place and needs cleaning' your mobile needs boosting etc

I have nod AV installed and that is all other then what came with the phone

Welcome to Android Central! Are these popups occurring on the homescreen, or only on the browser? What is nod AV?

It sounds like some adware was installed, probably along with some other app you installed. If nod AV is some 3rd party antivirus app, I would try uninstalling it. It doesn't sound like a well-known app, so I'd wonder if it might inject some adware trying to get you to install more useless "security" apps.

They are on the home screen. Nod 32 av is a world leader in anti virus and have been using it for over the past 15 years on computers without any issues so it's not that. air-push detector says twitter and tune-in radio are the main culprits so will uninstall those to see how thing go but it may take some time to find the ring leader

Oh I see, it's the antivirus from ESET. Sorry, I wasn't sure which one it was without the "32" part.

I am a specialist in computing software and work closely with many developers in that they bring to the table quality software as in the main top forums of the world like the DSLR if it's not good and gets a bad airing you can be sure the likes of myself wont support rendering it dead

it would be nice to see a current list of top android apps that the public find useful and actually work as most don't they are seldom updated and i myself cant keep track of them all

computer software is far more simpler with just the top 5 making in each category the grade and lasting over the years

do we have a current best list for android do you know ?
