How can I get rid of an echo that just developed recently on my Samsung Galaxy S5?

I have a Samsung S5 and it worked fine for over a year but now the folks I speak to are complaining of an echo. I thought my wired headset had developed an issue so I have bought new ones and the echoes continue. I have turned off Talkback and did a hard reboot and even removed the battery. Echo still exists. Help!

Welcome to Android Central! Are the people you're calling hearing their own voice echo? Or are they hearing your voice echo? Do you have a case on? I've read some instances of cases causing an echo. Another thing to do is contact your carrier and see if they have any input on this.
