AC Question

I often mistakenly hit a speed dial name and I am getting really annoyed. My husband gave me his old Moto X to replace my old flip phone when he got a new phone. He doesn't know how to get rid of this. Having a contact list is fine with me. That way I don't call people all the time without knowing it.

More information is needed. are you using the stock dialer? What are you trying to do when you "mistakenly hit a speed dial name"?

You could try using the "contacts" tab in your dialer instead of the "speed dial". You can switch between them scrolling left or right.

  1. Long press the speed dial entry that you want to remove.
  2. While pressing, the word "remove" will appear above the grid speed dial boxes.
  3. Drag the box up over the word "remove" until the word turns red, then release the box.
