How can I get the facebook app to open post-update?

I updated my facebook app and now it won't open. It stays on the blue screen and flashes the logo. I tried clearing the data and cache and force stopping with no luck. Then I uninstalled the whole app and reinstalled it with no results. Running a samsung galaxy fame with no other app trouble. Thanks!

Try downloading an older apk version of the app from the internet.
