How can I get the stock music player to add a folder from my SD Card? Using Huawei P8

Using Huawei P8. Music from SD Card does not show up in Stock Player. Can't see any way of adding it through music/settings/filter settings.

Phone also crashes when plugged into PC and adding many files to SD card at once. That's a different problem though!

Find the music with your file manager. Tap one of the files to play it. I'll bet that the stock music player won't be one of your choices - because it can't play that file type. (Which is why it's not showing that folder - there's no file there that it can play.)
