How can I hang up my phone on Samsung s8+

You can go to phone.... Tap the three dots in top right corner... Settings... Answering and ending calls....
There you can choose to end calls with the power button.

I am having the same problem with my recently purchased S8+. Tried setting up power button to end calls several times but it does not work. The key pad only shows green phone to initiate call, no red phone to end call. Very frustrating. If I reach someone's voice mail, the connection is maintained until the max time for recording a message is reached and their phone hangs up. I have had to power off my phone to end calls!

Tried that many times. Doesn't help. I actually need to power off phone to end calls, especially if I've gone to another screen while on the phone.

I am having an almost identical issue after the Oreo update.

During inbound calls my phone rings but I get no notifications (notifications are turned on for both phone and contacts)

During outbound calls my phone does not go to the normal outbound call screen but instead stays on the dialer or contacts screen and I can only end calls by swiping down and pressing the end call button that way.

I have cleared all app settings, cleared all caches (including the system cache) and checked all notification settings etc are turned on. I have even tried in safe mode and still get the same problem.....

I'm completely stuck with this :/

Welcome to Android Central! Have you disabled any system apps (like something called InCallUI)?
