Link email calendar but not mail account

hello, I am a new Note 5 user (as of noon today!) and I am very happy. I moved off the iPhone 5 platform. I would like to sync my work Exchange calendar to the Note 5 - but not my work email.

The iPhone 5 allowed you to add an email account, then "turn off" or disable the mail, contacts, to do, etc.

is it possible to do this on the Note5?

You can add said account. But within the setting of that email account on the device, deselect email. Thus it won't sync...

Alternatively, let it sync, but turn off notifications for THAT account
