How Can I Make Contact Photos Bigger

I have had my Galaxy S7 since the day it was released. I love it except for one thing. My contact photos show up as tiny little pictures in a circle, even when I open a contact and/or send/receive a call. I have looked all over online and also tried to find a solution within the phone settings, without success. I know this was a problem with the S6, but I would have thought they would have fixed it by now. Any suggestions?

I have a small circle and when I open the contact there is a larger photo as the background.

I don't beleive it's a "problem". I have some that have the small circle picture on some contacts and some that have a full size photos. From what I can tell, it's the size/resolution of the picture uploaded.
