Phone: Verizon HTC One M7
Kit Kat 4.4.3
Bootloader unlocked & S-OFF
So earlier today I used an app called sunshine to unlock Bootloader and turn my s-on to s-off, I paid 25$ to do so. Seeming there was no other method of doing this on 4.4.3, I felt I had too.
Now, like I said, my Bootloader is unlocked and s is set to off. Now I want to permanently root my phone, so I can do things like flash a custom recovery, back up my phone, flash a custom rom, etc.
The problem now is, I can't seem to find a method to do this. I'm gonna keep researching this, but does anybody know of a method? I don't want this 25$ spent to be waste.
Update:I was reading that you don't need to root to flash a rom or flash a recovery, I don't know if this is true though.
Update: My problem is resolved
Update: I broke my phone my phone a while back when experimenting with a fast charge feature on my kernel, fried my power supply. But basically sunshine gives you permanent root. I didn't realize it at the time.
