Prevent Lollipop from installing on stock Note 3

I hate lollipop so much! I have a new old stock note 3 that I have thought about activating. It either has jellybean or kitkat OS . How do I keep lollipop from upgrading on it? Will it give me a notification as to whether to accept or decline the lollipop upgrade. Thank you for the time!

You will get a notification informing that the update was downloaded and ready to be installed. You need to accept the prompt to initiate the install. However, if you choose not to, the notification will stay and there's nothing you can do to dismiss it (short of installing the update).

Is there anything in particular you don't like about Lollipop? Aside from the visual changes, there's also security improvements that are important enough for you to accept the update.
