how can I recover my backup password for my galaxy Edge?

I bought a new galaxy edge and I asked the IT to setup the company email prior to inserting the SIM card (using the wifi) unfortunately; I had entered a password which I forgot it now. how can I open my phone please? I need to travel & I need to take the new phone with me

I would ask your IT if they can help you to reset it. Otherwise I would log into Android Device Manager via your Google Account on a PC and see if you can setup a new backup password.
