How can I regain vibration on my Samsung j5 prime?

My phone can't vibrate anymore even if I switch to vibration mode or vibrate while ringing. It's just silent. Please assist.

Welcome to Android Central! I agree with belodion -- that's the most likely reason. The vibration motor is one of two moving parts in the phone (the other being the autofocus mechanism), so it's not surprising that it can fail.
