How Can I Remove The No Data Warning?

I was quite happy on KitKat using the nova launcher to hide or disable google's adware (google now, play games, quick office etc) but now with this lollypop update on my Nexus 5 they've added this awful exclamation mark on top of my network signal indicator. This is completely unnecessary, if the target market was 5-10 year olds then fine as they might not know when they're not connected but as it's not it's just horrible. I've attached a picture below.



Does anyone know how to hide/remove this disgusting addition?
