How can I remove the pattern lock?

I tested the pattern lock and decided I don't like it so much. How can I remove it? I don't see any obvious option to do so.

Do you have pattern set as your main unlocking method or as your secondary method? You just need to choose a different method to replace it. I use fingerprint as my primary and pattern as my secondary. Do you just want to swipe to unlock?

Ah just figured it out! I had to switch it back to swipe unlock and it simply removes the pattern lock. Now for my next question...is there a way to simply have it unlock with the power button rather than having to do the swipe?

Sorry, I hadn't refreshed my page to see your reply ABOS but, yes, you nailed it. Is there a way to have it unlock with just the power button?

Sort of. Settings > Display > Navigation bar. Turn on the unlock with home button. If you have swipe screen for security. Hard pressing the location of home button will unlock your phone.
