How can I restart my Samsung Galaxy S5 if my power button does not work?

how can i re start my samsung galaxy 5 if my power button does not work

Last week I tried to shut down my phone and I realized that my power button stopped working. Is there a way to re start it without that button and or is my phone just a paper weight?

Unfortunately there is no way to restart the phone unless the power button works. The good news is that replacements for that aren't expensive, and I'd rather get that fixed than calling your phone a paper weight just for that

I mean, you can shut it off by letting the battery 'die' or pulling the battery out, but to turn it back on you do need the power button.
