How can I set up "actions" like on Launcher for iOS?

Hi,

On iOS, I had the Launcher widget installed and it allowed me to this: I created an action that, with a tap on an icon, Waze would launch and help me navigate home.

I heard that this is possible on Android even before it became possible on iOS, so I would appreciate it if you could tell me how to do that.

You can launch Maps, but I don't think you can have it preset to navigate to your home. But if you install MyDirections you can run that, tap a location and it'll run Maps set to navigate to that location. (You enter locations like you enter contacts - the name you want to call it and the address you want to go to.) Just put that icon (the one for MyDirections) on your desktop.

There's a Google Maps widget named Directions that'll do that. If you prefer to use a different mapping program, you'll probably be looking at setting up macros in something like Tasker or Macrodroid.
