How can i set up my second hand Moto x2 after hard reset, I don't know the previous Google account

I brought this Moto x2 on ebay, I have done hard reset, after I wanted to set up the device, but I don't know the previous owner details, I want to set up with my Google account. How can I setup it?

In short, you can't. This is factory reset protection, an important security feature. You would need to have the previous person sign in with their account and properly reset it in order to use it.

Welcome to Android Central! The previous owner needs to properly remove their Google account prior to the reset. That has to be done in order for the reset to be considered authorized. Otherwise, Google's Factory Reset Protection will kick in, and after the reset is done, it will prompt the user to enter the previous Google account's name and password.

Your only options are to contact the previous owner (if possible) and ask them to help, contact the eBay seller to request a return, or contact eBay themselves if the seller isn't cooperative.
