How can I stop logging text messages?

Is there a way to stop Android from logging incoming and outgoing text messages? I just want it to log voice calls.

If you are running a leak you need to flash the logsprovider fix

Or you could flash to a different ROM. A lot of ROMs have disabled the sms logging feature. And besides, there are many other benefits to flashing a rom.

Running rooted stock FroYo. I did that so I could delete a bunch of Sprint's pre loaded junk i never use.
