Random advertisements on home screen and apps download without consent
I know there have been multiple questions about this topic, but none of the solutions seem to help. A few days ago I began receiving advertisements on my Note 4 when I unlocked it. Not in the notification bar but a pop up that filled the entire screen followed by a blue loading screen that rendered my phone entirely useless for a minute or so. Along with the ads, my phone downloads apps such as "Grab Points" or "CashMe Rewards" without my consent. It has also downloaded a book about how to strike it rich on Wall Street. Afterward it returns to normal for 15 or 20 minutes before another fit of ads, downloads, or disabling blue screens return.
I have tried multiple antivirus apps such as Comodo Mobile Security and 360 Virus Protection to no avail. Neither picked up a "virus" on my phone.
I also tried Airpush Detector and Addons Detector with the same result.
I tried searching the only computer that I have plugged my phone into for Mobile App Sync, Appcaster, or any other malicious program with no evidence of any of them.
Finally I decided it was the Google Play Store so I wiped all the data, changed the password, used 2-Step Verification, turned off Auto-Update, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the app entirely.
Unfortunately I continue to suffer these frustrating attacks, so I turn to the people of the internet. Is there a light at the end of this discontenting tunnel or has the train derailed? I have only had this phone for a week. There has to be something I can do.
