Welcome to Android Central.

Although this won't be what you want to hear, the odds of your device being hacked are slim to none. The odds that you have a bad app that doesn't play nice with one of your other apps or your device are much more likely. Since you've given us not much actual information to go on the advice offered is not going to be very specific. First take a moment to read through our, So you think your device is hacked, thread. There is some useful information in there.

While we do live in a technical world, remote hacking/controlling of someone's device is the stuff of movies and fiction novels. Ask your self, why would someone hack me? Do you have money, power, access to secrets? Probably not or you'd have people who would protect you from hacking. See how that works? Besides the things you've described are obvious. What would be the point of making the problems obvious? Obvious problems lead to the user trying to solve them or even getting a new device. Causing obvious problems when you cannot see or laugh at the mayhem that is caused is boring. So what would be the incentive?

Anyway it is far more likely that you have a bad app. Something you downloaded from the internet rather than the Play Store or an app that is old and hasn't updated in a while or one that you brought from your last phone that isn't totally compatible with your new phone. Speaking of which it would be really helpful if we knew what phone you have?

Have you tried using your device in Safe Mode to see if the issues continue? If the problems are fairly consistent putting your phone in Safe Mode and doing some of the things that cause you problems to see if they still happen can be a useful tool in troubleshooting the cause of the issues.

Are there any ads associated with this bad behavior? Often times apps will act up to try and scare the user into buying something, protection against malware, some add on app or just something to make the bad things stop. Are you seeing anything like that?

Give us a bit more information and we'll do more to help you with this issue. If you would like to reply to this thread and receive notifications when others leave replies, please create an account.
